The Placement Cell of the College is headed and coordinated by Rev. Fr. D. Samson Shanmugam, SDB, Vice-Principal. It comprises of Placement Officer, Mr. G. Gopu, Assistant Professor of Commerce, Placement-in-charges (Faculty Members) and Placement representatives (Students) from each department under its wing. The data base of the students is managed by the Cell which plays a critical role in getting jobs for the alumni.
The Placement Cell also ensures that the representatives from various multi-national companies visit the College not only to apprise students about the various courses and jobs availability, but also to select students and train them for requisite job skills. Over the years companies like TVS, Wipro, Mahindra, Titan, and Infosys have visited the College and recruited our students.
The primary objectives are imparting right training and instilling confidence in students to enable them to face the corporate world, and providing campus placements in the best companies for our students.
The main activities of the Placement Cell are as follows:
(a) to organise career oriented workshops for the outgoing students;
(b) to organise coaching classes for competitive exams by inviting experts;
(c) to organise programmes to create awareness on the importance of higher education in India and abroad;
(d) to invite industries and companies for Campus placements;
(e) to provide details of campus placements;
(f) to conduct awareness programmes on entrepreneurship skills for students;
(g) to invite experienced academicians, leading professionals with extensive corporate experience to address the students and thereby facilitate practical learning; and
